Founders and Promoters

Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) was founded by the late Sri. M.C. Sivananda Sarma – a teacher and a freedom fighter –hailing from a small village ( T. Narsipura ) in the erstwhile state of Mysore. The mission of our founder was to impart quality education to all sections of the society, something that was considered a privilege in pre-independent India.

In the year 1940, Sri M.C. Sivananda Sarma, joined hands with like-minded philanthropists and started a primary school with 6 students and a teacher in a rented building. Today eight decades later, RV ( Rashtreeya Vidyalaya) with 20 institutions, over 17,000 students and 1500 staff is at the forefront of the educational sphere in India

“Rastreeya Sikhshana Samithi Trust (R.S.S.T) believes that every individual from each strata of society needs education to fulfil aspirations.

With a vision to excel in all its activities, the Trust wishes to create an atmosphere of involved learning that instils a spirit of enquiry, and ensures a rewarding experience to everyone involved – students, parents, teachers and associates. Thus emerged a conglomerate of world-class academic institutions, each taking pride in having nurtured knowledge that will lead to global happiness, peace, harmony, and prosperity.”
